Press release – Closing press conference on project 2014-1-BG01-KA205-001633 “Entrepreneurship and Innovations for Youth”

 

On 22 February 2016, Monday, from 4 pm in the Office of the “Organization for scientific and practical development of students” (ONPRS). Sofia, 18 “Prof. Kiril Popov” str., Office 2, was held the final press conference on project 2014-1-BG01-KA205-001633 “Entrepreneurship and Innovations for Youth”, financed by the Erasmus + Programme. The Project partners are the Organization for Scientific and Practical Development of the Students (ONPRS) and the Italian non-governmental organization” A Rocca “. Representatives of the two organizations presented the objectives of the project, the activities and results achieved.

The main objective of the project was the promotion of entrepreneurship for higher employment and promotion of business ventures initiation. The specific objectives were:

  • To improve basic skills and competences in the field of entrepreneurship;
  • Sharing of experience and good practices and the establishment of new business contacts;
  • Stimulating the initiative and creativity of young people to launch a private business.

The project implemented successfully the following activities whose results were presented at the final press conference:

  • Elaboration of a study on entrepreneurship and the factors for the development of youth SMEs;
  • Drafting of a manual with practical guidance in the field of entrepreneurship;
  • Implementing a training for entrepreneurship – “Doing business with Bulgaria”;
  • Creating an eTwinning entrepreneurial platform;
  • Conducting 2 Speed Networking Events for young entrepreneurs;
  • Conducting conferences for dissemination of the results of the project in Bulgaria and in Italy.

The project duration was 17 months
